No worries — sometimes plans change! Here’s everything you need to know as a client when cancelling a booking on Gingr:

⚠️ If the automatic refund fails, you’ll be contacted by our support team to provide a bank account for manual processing.


🔄 How to Cancel a Booking

Canceling is quick and easy:

  1. Open the Gingr App or visit gingr.ch

  2. Tap on My Bookings

  3. Select the booking you want to cancel

  4. Tap Cancel Booking

  5. Confirm — you’ll get an email confirmation right away


🚨 Want to End a Booking Early?

You can leave early if needed — but you will still be charged for the full booked time.
Exceptions may apply if you file an Incident Report (see below).


❌ What Counts as a Client No-Show?

If you don’t appear at the agreed time and place within 15 minutes of the booked time — or cancel less than 2 hours before — it’s considered a no-show. This means:

  • You will be charged the full booking amount

  • This includes service fee, escort fee, extras, and travel

  • No refunds apply in this case


🕵️ What If the Escort Doesn’t Show Up?

If your escort does not show up at the agreed time and location, this may be considered an Escort No-Show — but only if properly reported.

❗ Important:

To claim a no-show, you must report it within 15 minutes after the scheduled booking start time using the Gingr platform.

⚠️ Reports made later than 15 minutes cannot be confirmed and will not qualify for a refund.


✅ If the No-Show Is Reported on Time:

  • You will not be charged

  • Any payment already made (Wallet, TWINT, Credit Card, etc.) will be fully refunded

  • If you used Pay on Invoice, the invoice will be cancelled

We’ll investigate the incident and take further steps if necessary.


🛟 Emergencies or Problems During the Booking?

We’ve got you covered.

Use the SOS Button in the app if:

  • You feel unsafe

  • Something went seriously wrong

  • You need urgent assistance

This will freeze all payments while our team investigates.
You can also file an Incident Report up to 48 hours after the booking ends.


✅ What Happens If the Escort Cancels?

  • You’ll be notified immediately

  • You’ll receive a full refund

  • You can rebook or choose a different provider


🧾 “Pay on Invoice” Users

If you booked using “Pay on Invoice”:

  • You will receive an updated invoice that reflects the cancellation

  • Any applicable cancellation fees will be listed clearly

  • Payment deadlines remain the same (10 days from invoice date)

🔍 Reporting Incidents & Disputes

  • You can report incidents during or within 48h after the appointment.

  • No payments will be made until Gingr’s support team completes the investigation.

  • Depending on the outcome, we may:

    • Approve a full or partial refund

    • Compensate the escort

    • Take action in case of misconduct
