❓A client cancelled your booking?

No worries – cancellations can happen. Here’s everything you need to know as an escort on Gingr when a client cancels (or doesn’t show up):

  • When you're entitled to a payout

  • What happens with late cancellations or no-shows

  • How to report issues

  • What to do if you need to cancel yourself

Let’s break it down 👇

🗖️ If the Client Cancels – What Will You Receive?

When They Cancel

Your Payout (Escrow Release)

More than 24h before

❌ No payout (no service fee released)

Between 24h and 12h before

✅ 50% of client charge (max. CHF 500)

Between 12h and 6h before

✅ 50% of client charge (max. CHF 500)

Between 6h and 2h before

✅ 50% of client charge (max. CHF 500)

Less than 2h before or no-show

✅ 50% of booking incl. travel & extras (max. CHF 500)

💶 The payout is automatically triggered.

💶 Cash bookings: Your payout will only be released after Gingr collects the payment from the client.

🕒 How Timing Affects You

The timing of cancellation defines your payout. In general:

  • More than 24h: No compensation

  • 24h–2h: 50% of client charge

  • <2h or no-show: 50% of full booking incl. travel/extras (up to CHF 500)

💳 What’s Included in the Booking Amount?

When calculating compensation:

  • Escort base rate

  • Gingr platform service fee

  • Travel fees (if outcall)

  • Extras (if booked)

⚠️ Your payout is always capped at CHF 500.

📱 What Counts as a Client No-Show?

If a client does not arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, it’s a no-show.

⚠️ To claim your payout, report the no-show within 15 minutes using the Gingr app.

📜 How to Report a No-Show

  1. Open the Gingr App

  2. Go to My Bookings

  3. Select the relevant booking

  4. Tap Report Incident

  5. Choose No-Show and confirm

🚀 We’ll automatically assess and credit the eligible amount to your Account Balance.

❌ What If You Need to Cancel?

You may cancel at any time without financial penalty, but:

  • Frequent cancellations may reduce your visibility

  • Clients will be fully refunded

  • You will not receive a payout

How to Cancel:

  • Open My Bookings

  • Select the booking

  • Tap Cancel Booking

  • (Optional) Report incident if applicable (e.g., inappropriate behavior, safety concerns)

🔄 Ending a Booking Early

Sometimes you might need to end a session early. Here's how it works:

Scenario

What Happens

Escort ends early (no incident)

Client charged for time used, partial refund given

Escort ends early (with incident)

Gingr investigates and decides payout/refund

Client ends early

Full amount charged unless safety reported

🚡 Emergency or Unsafe Situation?

Use the SOS button in the app if:

  • You feel unsafe

  • Something went seriously wrong

This will:

  • Alert Gingr support immediately

  • Freeze all payments

  • Trigger an investigation
