❓A client cancelled your booking?

No worries – cancellations can happen. Here’s everything you need to know as an escort on Gingr when a client cancels (or doesn’t show up):

  • When you're entitled to a payout

  • What happens with late cancellations or no-shows

  • How to report issues

  • What to do if you need to cancel yourself

Let’s break it down 👇

📆 If the Client Cancels – What Will You Receive?

When They Cancel

Your Payout (Escrow Release)

More than 48h before

❌ No payout (no service fee released)

Between 2h and 48h before

✅ 50% of Gingr Service Fee (max. CHF 200)

Less than 2h before or no-show

✅ 33% of total booking incl. travel & extras (max. CHF 200)

💡 The payout is automatically triggered.
💶 For cash bookings, we will release your share only after the client has paid Gingr.

🕒 How Timing Affects You

The exact time of cancellation determines your payout.

  • More than 48 hours before = free cancellation, no fee

  • 2–48 hours before = you earn half of the platform’s service fee

  • Less than 2 hours before or a no-show = you earn a third of the full booking amount (max. CHF 200)

💳 What’s Included in the Full Booking Amount?

If you are eligible for a no-show payout, the calculation includes:

  • Escort base rate

  • Travel fees (outcall only)

  • Extras (if booked)

  • Gingr platform service fee

Maximum payout: CHF 200

📱 What Counts as a Client No-Show?

A no-show is when a client does not show up within 15 minutes of the agreed booking start time without cancelling.

🚨 Important:

To claim your payout, you must report the no-show within 15 minutes after the scheduled start time via the Gingr app.

⚠️ Reports after that window will not qualify for a no-show payout.

🧾 How to Report a No-Show

  1. Open the Gingr App

  2. Go to My Bookings

  3. Select the relevant booking

  4. Tap Report Incident

  5. Choose No-Show and confirm

We will automatically assess and credit the eligible amount to your wallet.

❌ What If You Need to Cancel?

Escorts can cancel at any time without penalty, but:

  • Frequent cancellations may affect your visibility on the platform

  • Clients will be fully refunded

  • You will not receive any payout

How to Cancel as an Escort:

  1. Open My Bookings

  2. Select the booking

  3. Tap Cancel Booking

  4. Optional: Report an incident (e.g. inappropriate behavior, safety concerns)

🔄 Ending a Booking Early

Sometimes, you may need to end an appointment before the agreed time. Here’s what happens in each case:

Scenario

What Happens

Escort ends early (voluntarily)

Full amount is still charged to client

Escort ends early (with Incident)

We investigate and may adjust payout based on case

Client ends early

Full amount is charged unless safety issue is reported

🛟 Emergency or Unsafe Situation?

If something feels wrong during a booking, use the SOS button in the app immediately. This:

  • Alerts our support team in real time

  • Freezes all payments

  • Triggers an investigation before any funds are released
